It actually has one of the best ranges of most fighters, the best agility and is not used to defend France, just because it is small doesnt mean it isn't effective, its about 20 times more effective than the F-111's that we are using for example, in fact it is the second most effective fighter in the world.

i dont know if it is the best fighter in the world.. well for me it is but americans and russians will tell different.. but it is the most expensive i am sure it cost billions of euros/DM to develop it and took many many years

Europe made a mistake with this airplane this airplane is a small airplane can't cover greatest distances so this airplane can't cover all Europe is useful to protect Spain,France but not Europe as a group of 27 countries and in the future may more
and in a war you need defend you self and also be able to make offensives around the glove

You do realize Europe is not a country. The Eurofighter only has to cover 1 country.

yeah but this air plane is more for a role of interceptor then, like if you have these scattered all over europe then the problem of distance would be solved. and anyway dont you think its possible this plane was more meant for a role of an interceptor aircraft? which is meant to have short range

You're right. You can't compare them. The F22 is shit. Seriously overpriced and plagued with problems. It's got stealth, but that's about it, and unfortunately Russuan ground radar can detect it without a problem. Lets hope they don't go into Russia to shoot down these Soviet fighters.

The Eurofighter has the lowest radar signature of any technically non-stealth plane.

So what would be the best definition of stealth here?

pretty soon many countries will be scrambling for a stealth fighter with capabilties like the f-22, f-35, and possibly MIG 1.42.

So, i agree with Mr. Pikon, most planes developed now will have these features, it isn't just the " advanced avionic techiniques and low observable stealth techniques". Fifth generation fighters will need something better.
