When I was 13, I was at a slimber party and we were all drunk as shit. anyways, my best friend decided that we would get all dressed up and pretend to make a Duran Duran video. She loved Simon and decided she would dress up like him, her hair was white blonde, totally platinum, she said well, his hair is dirty blonde, I'm going to have to put petroleum jelly to make mine dark like that. She did and it wouldn't wash out, she had to go to a hair salon for them to get rid of it. It was hilarious!!

I was so fortunate to have seen Duran Duran when they played New Year's Eve 1982-1983 in New York City while I was working at MTV. Joe Piscopo also appeared that night - right down the block from Times Square. Anybody out there remember this amazing New Yr's Eve party?
