titanium is half the weight of steel but just as tuff less weight less recoil and would still rip ya up but i would use lead buck shot

NO! Titanium is 3 times lighter than steel and 3 times stronger. Titanium shot would weigh as much as air soft bbs. They are NOT going to kill anyone. Its not practical at all. If you were to shoot titanium-jacketed bullets out of a pistol, you would have to replace your barrel every 200 rounds because the jacket would rip the hell out of the barrel. Go ahead! You make your #00 titanium heavy shot and stand out at 50 yards. Ill use 00 lead buckshot and we will see who is left alive.

dude look it up "titanium is as strong as some steels, but 45% lighter" this is from wiki and if we were to do shoot at each other we would probley both die. but ya i would pick lead over it too unless i was shooting a guy in my house and did not want it to go through all the walls and kill my family too!they make all sorts of costly loads for just that reason look things up before you talk like you know!

Your at the wrong ass end of the periodic table. Whats next? You want to make Lithium bullets next??

Atomic weight
lead 207.2
Titanium 47.88
They DONT make Ttitanium bullets for a reason. It wont hold up to any air resistance not to mention it doesnt have the weight to make much of an impact. But hey you want to make self defense confetti bullets you go ahead. I have been reloading and making ammunition for 10 years now what do I know.

You want self defense rounds you go with HEAVIER bullets but back down your power charge.
A heavier bullet traveling slower offers maximum impact force. If I were to drop an anvil on your head, I wouldnt have to drop it very far to cause massive damage. Same principle

Well Im sure you have never picked up a real gun in your life. The only thing you know about guns is what you see in the movies. Good luck with your cofetti bullets douchbag!

1NWOMD (October 1, 2008 at 11:33 pm)
Yes Mack was wrong!! Haha you think you are "proving me wrong"... WHEN??? I guess you think the pereotic table is wrong, or all ammunition manufactures are all "wrong" for not using titanium bullets instead of lead. Your only 27! Ive been reloading since before you were born boy!!
Still... In all the years you have owned your "8 guns" WHEN have YOU ever shot titanium bullets or shot??????
