what is this bollocks about irresponsible chainsaw handling,... Chainsaws are sharp noisy bastards that wants to kill anything that holds it. The fact some one turns it to making pretty scupltures is ,...................cool!!!!!!!

U a muppet that wants some rules to tell him he is validated to actually live.If you want a saw licence,go get yourself one. The inate quality of craftmanship is craft, not card carrying audited training standards, vetted by an appropriate government regulated licencing body.Handling a saw is timing, trajectory, torque & touch. You find me licence&set of 'handlers rules',that would indemnify me against getting the pointy bits slicing through me

I'm starting with chainsaw sculpture, if anybody can help me, what kind of wood is apropiate for this work, and why he uses two different chainsaws?
