Cuba after Castro
BackFidel Castro came to power in Cuba on December 31, 1959. Expropriation, nationalization of the industry and the departure of more than two and a half million Cubans followed.
But also the advancement of health care and education, and a continuing struggle to turn Cuba into an ideal communist state. In Miami the great countdown has begun. The Cubans who have fled the socialist experiment over the past 45 years have faith again. The momentum is there, or at least close, so the exiles in Miami hope. They'll soon be able to take possession of Cuba again and start reconstruction, from communist utopia to Caribbean investment paradise. In Miami, where 1.2 million Cuban exiles live, Cuban organizations, companies and people are ready for the post-Castro era. This documentary takes stock of the scenarios people in Miami envision for Cuba after Castro and of thepossible consequences for the island and its inhabitants.

I hope the cuban revolution advances to a new stage of libertarian communism, or at least to a yugoslavian production system, that's to say free association

if fidel dies i dont believe America will act. If it did it would have a huge mess on it's hands. And possibly ww3 would lead on from it. All that will happen is afew of the Miami-Cuban pigs will cheer in the streets. Raul is still around, plenty of his government will still be around, hugo chavez etc. Viva Cuba

Giving Castro and the revolution(wich was an uprise to poverty, imperialism and supression)
all the blame for the state that Cuba is today is nothing but unjust. The western world has held down the economy with embargos. And there is no sight that it will turn. The thing is that western economy see oppurtunity in this pristine land.Long live the revolution that has given normal people just a little dignety.Just listen to the lawyer in thisfilm."We want to take back what our forefathers has stolen"
