Never even thought I would make it this far/On lifes highway, rockin in a borrowed car/On borrowed time but Im falling behind/Its just a sad case of lookin myself in the face/ So please stop me if im pullin from figments of my imagination/But as an artist, I am privy to invention/And though music is the surest mode of soul transportation/It is also the cheapest form of confession

But I am afraid that I will use this good for vain/That it will only benefit on the material plane/And im afraid I will lose my soul to a chord/Cuz I know my tongue is sharper than a double edged sword
Fist tight and my palms are sweaty/But the ink drippin from my pen tells me im ready/To begin the slow trudge to pandora's door/And I wil respect her limit and those who have come before/
