i really think that neil boyd will have more opportunities if he study classical singing intensively.. i believe he is a big lyric or kinda heroic tenor in the future..

Come on guys, he's an average, and I stress average singer at best. While i believe he does show promise, he needs alot of work in both pronunciation and control, and is by no means anywhere close to as good as Paul Potts....yet.
Personally I found the whole episode a tad corny and the reaction a bit overboard, but I wouldn't expect much less from an american crowd, in which if he sang Mary Had A Little Lamb in a foreign language, they would probably love it.

cheers to piers! when i watched this, i thought he's gonna bring up the "you have a similar voice to paul potts" issue. but he didn't. so it's a good thing! i like this guy! almost teared too hahaha..

Boyd is an ok singer. The older singer Braswell(care salesman)was a great singer. That man has it all a great voice and looks too. I'm sure being political correct is far more important on AGT than choosing the best talent. Smith (the school teacher) was same type singer as Boyd and almost as good, the judges were awful to him saying he looked bad, was no good and he should stay with teaching. Guess the judges didn't think talking down to this guy was politically incorrect.
