Goodyear Blimp Landing

Back


Goodyear blimp landing at its Carson, CA base. Watch it approach at a steep angle, level off and float and then repeat this maneuver. Then you'll hear the change in engine throttle (1:05) as it floats and stabilizes for its final approach before the ground crew grab the lines and begin walking it to its anchoring mast.

I just saw the goodyear blimp yesterday from my house. It in wisconsin for EAA.
