at0.22, i wonder why the canopy is like that instead of closing the other way around?

My guess is so that if theres a canopy lock failure at high-speed flight it doesn't rip off and subject the pilot to intense shockwaves

Keep in mind these are the first production versions of the aircraft. Prototypes have been flying for several years.

add some thrust vectoring and this plane will own all

I'v actually seen the system working! There is a series of sensors around the aircraft that combine information for the pilot. Those sensors allow the pilot to look through the fighter like it wasn't even there! All of the latest versions of Russian firgters use, a less advanced, helmet mounted targeting technology. And all Super Hornet pilots have them but the F-35 has the most advanced system. The Raptor will have it soon as well! You'll learn about it too in time. The F-18 HMTS is on youtube.

Idk where you saw this working but theres no "x-ray vision" but the looking at a aircraft and firing is true

You'll see buddy. And I wont say "I told you so"! It's only a matter of time.

it's called the distributed aperture system, and the aircraft does indeed have all aspect video and IR cameras, the pilot can have this data in the helmet and can look through himself and the aircraft, even with night vision. the sensors are also used for early warning / missile detection.
