B-2 Spirit
BackNorthrop Grumman B-2 Spirit is a multi-role stealth heavy bomber. The B-2's composite materials, special coatings and flying-wing design all contribute to its "stealthiness." One of the most expensive planes ever built: estimates for the costs per plane range from 1.1 to 2.2 billion USD. Music: Massive Attack - 'Future Proof'.

Ground radar using TV waves can localize B2!

I fly the B1-B out of Dyess AFB Texas, the only drawback this aircraft has besides it's pricetag is it is slow as hell, Mach .88 at 45,000 ft, so if an enemy aircraft happens to just see the plane, never mind radar it's going down. The B1-B's top speed is classified but I have had it at Mach 1.36 at 350 ft...

Forget about getting a radar lock on one of these babies... even synthetic aperture radar would not get a return signal. And to make matters more difficult, even if you "stumbled" into one and got a visual (unlikely as missions are night flights) heat seekers cannot lock onto these planes due to the vented engine outlets. Even if they did get a lock, the missiles are easily fooled by decoy flares as the flare has a higher heat signature than the engines themselves...

this is a repainted Horten 229!!...Yes I suggest, US should dedicate to R'N'R.For War ,Germans aaaallll time!

you sound like a jealous sweed, it would be easy to shoot down if enemy fighters could actually see the damn thing but thats the problem and why one has NEVER been shotdown, the only stealth aircraft to be shot down was a F-117 by a SAM missile in serbia.

litsen man, in a fighter aircraft 30 precent is flown by computers, rest (70 precent) is flown by pilot. BUT in a flyingwing aircrat its is 70 Precent flown by computers and 30 precent by pilot thats why it got bad handling!
Dogmeat7 (August 16, 2008 at 2:04 pm)
kid your not making any since lol. it's a BOMBER. the handling is just fine as one pilot told me. it's also a dream to fly. you think when they were making a B-17 in ww2 they were wondering if it coudl do cool flips? lol. the point of the aircraft is to sneak in drop a massive payload an sneak out. handling? lol.
