America didn't succeed in Vietnam ... you all know that ... it was defeated because the u.s soldiers were drunk and idiots until now.

The VC prisoners told our interrogators that they learned quickly NOT to shoot at the 'skinny' helicopters!

To increase it's range?

The brids firing the nails are from the 334th Attack Helicopter Co. (Playboys). When you fried the 20mm, both your VHF and UHF radio buy the farm. Many time the pressure in the cockpit from the 20mm firing would blow the backseat's window/door open. But that 20mm would bring pee on chuck.
You will also see BlueMax and Raider brids in the film. I'll take the new 4 bladed Marine AH-1Z-plus, which can out fly any attack helicopter today.

Hah, that'd be cool.
There's alot of unofficial field mods that go on in war. It's a game of rigging whatever works onto whatever can hold it. Like in WWII with the guy that welded beach tank traps to form a ram so Shermans could break through hedgerows. There ain't no replacement for American ingenuity!

Yes, I feel the exact same way, but no book I have read on the subject details this 20mm cannon, and I'd desperately like to see that because it sounds so badass. He said the 2 M60s would be removed, and in one of the little grooves where the m60 was, a 20mm would be put in there in its place.
