I heard them play this live in 1976 in Cardiff, and it spoiled a lot of other bands for me. There's an edgy intensity to VDGGs performance that is plain lacking in a lot of the other bands I've seen. PH would be the fist to admit that, as a live act, they weren't always polished - but they were always an absolute tour-de-force.
