Its a great piece ok, and most ol timers from the surf era arround sydney wont argue either, Apache and other shadow songs just was in the scene back then, alantics as well,a great song to learn on guitar as well, timeless!!

This reminds of when I was younger I used to play this song on guitar. A bit sad I left my guitar behind.. But I had so much other things to do... And last but not least great song though!

FABULOUS ! a real turning point in music. This came after the Elvis, jive, twist, do-wap stuff. The Beatles probably got inspired by this lead guitar

Arguably the most important song in rock-history.
The influence of The Shadows' Apache is very huge. Thousands of wannabees wanted to be Hank Marvin. Some of these thousands became great guitarists.
