I was blown away by Zep, i had listened to a little of Alisons work and most impressed.

But this is truly beautiful. It is amazing in my car with the engine switched off... in at #1 for me.

Amazing stuff.

Led Zep was (is!) awesome. THEY ROCK! But each one of the musicians are maybe more than that. I think it's OK if they start or keep doing different things (remember they were bluesmen?!). It's art; they're artists! Maybe we don't love it, maybe we do. So let's hear some more. Cheers.

Music is music. Robert is still hip and happening, and you should appreciate all the awesome music he makes.

To jasonpauljohnston RE: the overpowering & distorted bass. I rec'd the CD as a gift, brand new & unopened. I still don't know what's wrong. No major problems on car stereo -- utterly awful on my home system (which produces beautiful sound from other CDs). I WANT to like this CD. I saw Led Zep on their first US tour (Jethro Tull opened) and I'm a rabid fan of anything Alison Krauss does.

This is awesome, two musical and human giants making great music. Their voices blend so well, remarkable sense of melody.

People who don't understand what Plant's doing here probably don't much understand how much he values the roots of music (see "T.Bone Burnett")...LISTEN to Led Zep, they derive much of their feel from the delta blues and roots sound and always have, this is just logical.
