look at it this way, they are strapping bombs to themselves as a last resort, while being constantly bombarded with high tech weapons by a OCCUPATIONAL FORCE

This is what the Feds do. They create whatever illusion they wish to create in order to convince people things are as they want you to think they are. This does not only apply to foreign enemies but also with American citizens. I've seen it happen.
