instead of the first officer pulling the speed brake he could have just flicked the fuel cutoff switches and the engines would have shut down, making it impossible to take off in that short amount of time.

I just like the M&Ms and Certs candy during my time at the Clinton WH, we would get cases of the M&Ms with the Seal of the Office of the President of the United States and Bill Clinton's signature. My roommate and I ate a case of Presidential M&Ms when we ran out of money in our budget for food. I still keep one of the little certs candies as a reminder of the old days. I don't know about the parachute scene but in theory wouldn't there be some type of ramp similar to a C-17?

The film crew was allowed access to the real air force one for filiming but the Secret Service suggested that changes be made for security reason. There is no escape pod or parachute ramp.
