The cockpit of the A380 looks like every other cockpit, now the Boeing 787 Dreamliners cockpit is the futuristic looking cockpit.

well, i have to admit, it does look like an ugly whale but what it lacks in looks, it definitely makes up for in technology.

so, a gear is a gear, I am talking about the look of the aircraft.

hope you know that the company that makes 747 landing gear, makes the a380's too

Its b/c the A380 is so massive, b/c I am American, I prefer Boeing, but I think Airbus is trying a little to hard, I noticed the concept A350 is a Airbus'd up version of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, to bad Airbus can't get its hands on the new technology of the 787, so currently I think the Boeing 787 is the only passenger a/c to have new materials, the A380 still uses old way aircraft materials.

I have the same brakes on my Honda Civic

also planes have spoliers or how ever there called to slow plane down once they land ( speed brake)
Airportchris2 (September 4, 2008 at 1:58 pm)
yea, they help slow the aircraft down, and they also completely stop all lift on the wing.
