I'm pretty much adding all my favorite '80s songs to "My Favorites." You should check those songs out. Some are timeless classics. Music now is worthless compared to these 80's masterpieces!

This particular song and band are the main reason why I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo proud of the '80s and my generation. =)

There'll NEVER be another decade like that! I'm just glad that I could have experienced it as a teenager with that new thing called MTV--when it was true to itself and played videos, and not all these lame, crass reality shows.

Duran Duran = thought-provoking, soft, quiet elegance and class.

Music nowadays (especially rap) = nothing but hype, no substance, no class, no morals, nothing but how much money you SUPPOSEDLY have and what kinda flashy car you drive.

I'll take Duran Duran and the rest of the '80s over that b.s.!

bondie: no, not at all. I'd listen to this song about 20 times in one night....playing the old radio/tape cassette player or Walkman. For a young teenager back in the '80s, it made me really think...and be introspective. Eventually, when I got older, it made me cry when I went through some hard times. That's what happens when your mind associates certain senses with your childhood. You're not a freak at all!

i love duran duran there my favourite band and this is probaly my favourite song ive listened to it at least a million times but whenever i hear it, especially the begining it sends chills down my spine anyone feel the same way or am i just a freak?
