Brilliant conductor of godlike music. After watching some of the vids on here I just ordered Karajan's 63 recording of the nine symphonies on CD.

I have heared other recordings in which the pitch was augmented by a half step. Mr. Karajan did not rewrite the entire symphony in a half step. The augmented pitch is probably a result of age, the recording method, or both.

I got some time , so I did it! the f....pitch!!!go on : barthoproduction , (youtube) , and you 'll see and hear the same video but in the real tune : C minor , not this wrong C sharp minor ...Let's go to the truth! For Beethoven , his Masterpiece , and this Master "Chief"!
